The food pantry began in the 1980’s and was built up during the 1990’s as a joint effort between Nativity Lutheran Church and Christ the King Catholic Parish to help alleviate hunger in our community. Learn more about the Food Pantry’s history and the people behind it.
We partner with the Northern Illinois Food Bank, which allows us to take monetary donations even further in purchasing food. Learn more.
